My kids have has always had an interest in Remembrance Day. They always seem to understand how important it is.
I’m so thankful for the teachers that they have had in school that have taught them about Remembrance Day.
Today we took a special trip to see Nana and Papa to see all of the metals, his war blanket, his hat and photographs of Ann’s dad. They had a chance to ask questions and listen to stories her dad told her.
These stories need to be told and passed down from generation to generation so they do not get lost.
It is so important to take a moment to remember those from our past that have allowed us to have this wonderful present and future.
