Love love love. I truly loved everything about this day. Leah and Ryan are people you become friends with us soon as you meet them, and the same can be said for their wedding party and family. The whole group welcomed Sean and I with open arms to celebrate this day with them.
Their day was planned beautifully. They also planned for us to have more than enough time to take these wonderful photos, it was really hard for me to decide which to share as they will receive over 1200 images.
Reveals are one of my favourite things to do. In this location with these two, it was perfection. With having two photographers we were able to capture the reaction from both perspectives.
There were so many fun little details and events that went on during their wedding day: the letters they wrote to each other, hiding underneath umbrella’s to get to the ceremony, running away with the wedding party as soon as the ceremony was over are just a few. Leah’s dress and hair piece was truly perfection. I love that she reused her grandma’s hair piece, it added such a sentimental touch. She also made one for her daughter. These are the beautiful details that make their wedding unique.
The entertainment during the ceremony with Ben Hermann was beautiful and the reception music put on by Dig Newton added to this perfect day. As always I loved capturing the decorations done by Jessica from P2 as it’s always stunning, and the buffet catered by Cecil’s was delicious. It was the perfect day.
